Suzanne Blainey

MSc., M.A., Registered Psychotherapist

Hi there! My name is Suzanne (she/her), I am a psychotherapist specializing in individual as well as couple and family therapy. I work from a systemic and relational model that emphasizes the ways in which clients can find meaning in their lives and continue to grow towards their preferred way of being.
Grounded in dialogic principles of collaboration, the client’s voice is the most important in the room, and it is my hope that you feel uplifted in the space we have created in therapy. I see my client’s stories as valuable insights into the central values and core experiences that shape their current ways of being. Alongside this systemic approach to therapy, I value the personal emotions that colour the world you live in and provide a context for deeper understanding. This method of therapy aims to move between this space of curiosity and exploration towards more deep and thoughtful discussions about the patterns that exist in your world. It is my hope that clients find therapy to be an opportunity for exploring new ways of seeing their life, and a space to realize their individual strength and potential.
