As a therapist, my goal is to walk with you through your journey of self-discovery. Sometimes it isn’t very comfortable to explore who we are, but at other times, it is enlightening and insightful to experience your most authentic self. Coming to therapy is a big step, and from personal experience, I understand and appreciate that hesitancy. On the other hand, I also know what it is like to need support, and you might feel that way too. In therapy, my goal is to share tools with you that you can use in our time together and on your own to maintain your mental health and take control of your life. Working together means having a voice, feeling heard, and being open while knowing I am listening rather than judging. Throughout my work, I have embraced an anti-oppressive lens and a unique worldview, and I imagine you have done the same.
