Bianca Kovacs has 17 years’ experience as a clinical social worker. She obtained her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology at St. Thomas University, Social Work degree at York University, and has been an Addictions and Mental Health social worker for the past five years. Prior to Addictions and Mental Health Services, Bianca started her career at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital as the Emergency Department Social Worker. Throughout her years within Horizon, Bianca gained experience throughout the hospital, including administration, as well as the Veterans Health Unit. Trained in CAMS (Collaboration Assessment and Management of Suicidality), and CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) Fundamentals in Anxiety and Depression, she is interested in helping those that have experience with trauma. Bianca is currently working on a master’s in social work, and is practicing under the supervision of Ashley Goyette, BA, MSW, RSW.
