Cheryl Oxford (M.Sc., CCTP-L1) received a master’s in clinical psychology from Acadia in 2019. Her practice takes a trauma-informed approach in helping adults overcome difficulties related to toxic stress, developmental and relational trauma, problematic dissociation, depression, anxiety, poor sleep, grief, loss, and major life changes. She takes an integrative approach using several therapeutic modalities including EMDR Therapy, Parts Work Therapy, Somatic Psychology, Relational Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, and therapeutic yoga. She offers group therapy as an alternative or adjunct to individual therapy. Cheryl will help you release old beliefs, grieve losses, and let go of outgrown habits. She fosters healing through trust, sincerity, and evidence-based practices. Outside of work, she enjoys rock hounding, swimming, her dogs, & yoga.
