Christine is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. She has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and has been practicing for over 20 years. Christine has gained rich experience working at Lakeridge Health Centre, Trillium Health Centre, Peel District School Board and the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
She works collaboratively with clients and pulls from many therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, Narrative, solution focused, somatic, family systems and aspects of Internal Family Systems. Her main areas of interest include anxiety, depression, burnout, life transitions and stress management.
Christine also practices Neurofeedback and has her Board Certification in Neurofeedback through the BCIA. Christine believes that clients are the experts in their own lives and have the inner resources necessary to tackle the struggles they face. She works alongside clients to support awareness and growth, respecting the experiences that have shaped their sense of self and others.
