Elaine’s clinical background includes working with adults, children, and adolescents in the areas of therapy, assessment, and consultation. Her current therapeutic practice is with adults focusing on PTSD, trauma, anxiety, depression, abuse, and anger. She also completes general psychological/diagnostic assessments as well as assessments for Veterans Affairs benefits eligibility. Elaine mainly uses Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with aspects of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in her general practice. She uses Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in the treatment of trauma and abuse.
