Isidora Campos

M.A., Registered Psychotherapist, Board Certified Neurofeedback Clinician, EMDR trained Clinician

When life feels overwhelming—whether through anxiety, burnout, trauma, or chronic stress—our mind and body often carry those burdens in ways we don’t fully understand. In these moments, reaching out isn’t a sign of weakness, but a profound act of courage. Healing is not only possible; it begins when we learn to regulate, reconnect, and restore balance from within.

As a Board-Certified Neurofeedback Clinician (BCIA) and Registered Psychotherapist at NuVista Mental Health, I specialize in trauma-focused psychotherapy through an integrative, neurobiologically-informed lens. My clinical focus includes ADHD, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and emotional dysregulation. Neurofeedback is central to my work, helping clients understand how trauma and stress shape both brain and body, and how we can retrain the nervous system toward greater resilience and calm.

My intention is to walk alongside you with care and integrity as you move toward healing, emotional balance, and personal growth, grounded in science, attuned to your experience, and always centered on your innate capacity to heal. Together, we will identify meaningful goals and build on your strengths, so that you can live with greater ease, purpose, and connection.

Experience

Throughout my professional journey, I have worked in diverse settings including schools, nonprofits, and private practice. I’ve supported individuals experiencing anxiety, post-traumatic stress, depression, burnout, life transitions, and relational challenges.

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a Board-Certified Neurofeedback Clinician through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). My academic background includes Master’s in Psychology and Applied Positive Psychology, and my approach integrates years of advanced training in both psychotherapy and neuroscience-based interventions. I bring warmth, curiosity, and compassion to the therapeutic space, always seeking to understand the person behind the symptoms.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m a contributing author in International Trends in Neurofeedback and an active member of the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR), the Mexican Society of Bio and Neurofeedback (SMBN), the Biofeedback International Certification Alliance (BCIA) and the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).
