Jennifer began learning about the effect of complex trauma when she volunteered with incarcerated youth in Los Angeles, CA. After a career in visual art, she received her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work, Northampton, MA so she could effectively support individuals in their healing process. Jennifer worked the majority of her career as a clinician at a community mental health clinic that specializes in trauma treatment and where she provided support and advocacy for transgender clients as the clinic’s Transgender Liaison.
Jennifer graduated from the Post Graduate Fellowship in psychoanalysis at Massachusetts Institute of Psychoanalysis, Amherst, MA and most recently, completed her training in Attachment Focused EMDR through the Parnell Institute in San Rafael, CA. Additionally, she is a member of the Berkshire County, MA Psychedelic Community where she has begun her study in Psychedelic Assisted Treatment. Jennifer is especially excited and looking forward to training in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and being part of the team at Serene View Ranch.
