Jessica Guillemette

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I believe that effective therapy begins with creating a space where clients can present authentically—without judgment and without the pressure to have everything resolved. My practice is grounded in the recognition that human emotions and experiences are inherently complex, and that meaningful therapeutic work requires approaches that honour and embrace this complexity.

I work primarily with teens and adults, utilizing person-centred, emotion-focused, and attachment-based therapeutic modalities. These frameworks allow me to support clients in exploring the full spectrum of their experiences, including the contradictions, challenging emotions, and aspects of themselves that may feel difficult to express. Central to my work is understanding how past experiences inform present circumstances. By examining where clients have come from and who they are today, we can collaboratively develop a path forward that aligns with their values and aspirations.

I place significant emphasis on building a strong therapeutic foundation and establishing a safe environment where trust can develop organically. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel truly understood, safe, and supported as we work together toward your goals.

As an early-career therapist, I bring dedication, curiosity, and a commitment to supporting clients as they work toward emotional, relational, and personal growth. Together, we will identify where you want to go and develop an authentic path to get there.
