Kayla holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Counselling Therapist-Candidate in New Brunswick and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. She has experience supporting adults with a variety of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress management, interpersonal problems, grief, anger, and trauma.
Kayla believes that connection, trust, and collaboration in the therapeutic relationship facilitates clients’ forward movement and enhanced wellbeing. She incorporates clients’ strengths, goals, and values into treatment planning taking an integrative approach that suits their worldviews and needs. Kayla approaches all clients with empathy and nonjudgment. She guides them to look within and beyond themselves to explore causes for current difficulties and potential for growth. Kayla is a lifelong learner who is committed to ongoing professional development.
