Laura Rodriguez is a Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the healthcare field with individuals, families, and communities. She graduated from Renison College with a Masters of Social Work in 2017. She joins our team to focus on her passion of supporting clients during their family-building journey, specifically during the perinatal period. This support may also include infertility challenges and pregnancy loss. She has specialized training from Postpartum Support International and has completed her Perinatal Mental Health Certification. Laura uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with components of Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) and mindfulness to improve individuals’ and their families’ quality of life. She is also an advocate for informed choices, health equity and strives to decrease stigma around mental health challenges.
