Lydia Coulombe

Lydia (she/they) graduated with her Masters in Counselling Psychology in 2023 and joined the Serene View Ranch team after completing her internship here. Lydia has spent the past 5 years working with children, youth, and families both within the community and in the education system. Currently, Lydia is on track to becoming a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) as well as a Board Certified Biofeedback Clinician (BCIA). Lydia also practices Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, and is passionate about the potential for healing and growth in the human-equine relationship. Lydia takes an eclectic approach to therapy, utilizing elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. In their work, Lydia strives to provide clients with non-judgmental, trauma-informed and person-focused support. When not at the Ranch, you can find Lydia spending time outside, with family, and with her own special horse, Finn.
