Nikki Wilson

Registered Psychotherapist

Welcome, & thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! No matter what brings you here, I hope to offer you a warm & welcoming space where you can explore, process, & move through the many parts of your world – your thoughts, feelings, & experiences – with a spirit of curiosity & acceptance. I work with adults (18+) one-on-one in a virtual setting, using an integrative approach to talk therapy that has a collaborative & conversational vibe. (And yes, that includes having a sense of humour!) As an intersectional & trans-inclusive feminist, I’m committed to anti-racist & anti-carceral practices. I believe that you are the expert when it comes to your own life. And as a fellow traveller & compassionate witness to this season of your life, my goal is to hold space for you; a therapeutic space where you can feel seen & heard, as well as empowered to be your authentic self. While I have a talent for connecting with people who share similar identities & communities with me, I also enjoy working with folks across differences. Some of the identities that I claim, & which shape my perspective include: queer, cis-woman, neurodivergent, disabled, white settler, survivor, advocate, nerd, gamer, witch. When I’m not wearing my “therapist” hat, I like to: read books, spend time in nature, swim, sing, hang out with my cat, (re)watch TV shows & play video games, board games, & TTRPGs. Sometimes I will enjoy an in-person adventure by travelling to different parts of the world. As a multi-passionate person my interests & hobbies change often! I am grateful to be living & learning on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, the Anishnaabeg, the Attiwandaron, & the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (Southern Ontario). These lands are covered by the Upper Canada Treaties, & protected by the “Dish With One Spoon” wampum agreement.
