Sarah (she/her) comes to the ranch with over 10 years social work experience across various PEI systems, including: child protection, foster care and adoption, and assessing individuals living with disabilities. She returned to school to complete her Masters in Counseling Psychology and is happy to have found a home at Serene View Ranch. Sarah’s broad experience helps to provide comfort for those seeking support with personal and family matters, mental health challenges, varying disabilities, and any number of personal goals, including areas of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, significant life changes, caregiver support, and complex trauma. Her ongoing education has provided her with experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based approaches, among others. Sarah leverages a non-judgmental, person-centered, trauma informed, and individualized strength based approach to support clients through past, present, and future challenges. Sarah is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, a member of the PEI Counselling Association and a consistent supporter of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
