What To Expect
To book an appointment, simply click the “Book Appointment” button. From there, you can choose the nearest location, select a therapist, and schedule your first appointment or consultation call at a convenient date and time. Alternatively, you can select “Contact Us” to ask questions or request an appointment.
When booking, our administrative team will match you with a clinician based on your needs. We take confidentiality seriously, and any information shared during the booking process is kept private.
Referrals
We welcome self-referrals and referrals from physicians, hospital groups, governmental agencies, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., massage therapists, chiropractors) as well as VAC and WSIB for our counseling and assessment services.
Your First Visit
Before your first visit, you will be sent an intake and consent form to complete via email. This is mandatory to be completed if you are a new client. On the day of your appointment, if it is in person, please finish by the scheduled time so you have the full duration of your session available. If your appointment is virtual, an email invite and consent to video call will be emailed to you no later than 1 hour prior to your scheduled time. If you are covered by an insurance provider, please make sure you have confirmed the type of therapist and/or services and amount of coverage you qualify for. Please note we do not offer direct billing. You are required to pay for your appointment after it has been completed and then submit your receipt to your insurance provider for reimbursement
Session Length & Quantity
Counseling appointments typically last 30 minutes, 50 minutes or 80 minutes for specific assessments, timing may vary, and details will be explained before administration. The number of sessions depends on your individual needs, and your clinician can advise on the ideal frequency after your first session.
Rates
Service rates vary by clinician and service type and may differ based on the province where the clinic is located. For specific rates, please inquire with our team members at your chosen location.
