I am committed to empowering my clients through evidence-based practices tailored to their individual needs. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) while also incorporating elements of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and always from a person-centred approach. I am trained in CPT, PE, CBT-I and Grief for childre, teens and young adults. I believe in creating a collaborative, therapeutic environment where clients can use their strengths and develop practical strategies for growth.
I am particularly passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and families, including parent coaching and life transitions. I also love to work one-on-one to help clients develop resilience, enhance coping skills, and achieve greater self-empowerment. I provide a holistic approach to mental health and personal growth by combining my educational background with my current counselling skills.
I have a Master’s in Education in Curriculum Studies with a focus on diverse learning needs and a Master’s of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I will be registered as RTC-C in January 2026 once I complete my internship.
With over 20 years dedicated to supporting children and families, I have cultivated a deep passion for helping individuals unlock their inner potential and overcome life’s challenges.
When I am not working I enjoy acrylic painting, walking my dogs and spending time with family and friends.
