Christine is a BCIA Certified Neurofeedback Clinician who provides mentorship to new clinicians in neurofeedback along with acting as Lead Neurofeedback Clinician in Toronto. She is trained in EEG Amplitude Neurofeedback, High Performance Neurofeedback and LoRETA Neurofeedback as well as QEEG Analysis. She began neurofeedback seeking a more holistic approach to mental health that addresses both the body and the mind. In her therapeutic work, she focuses mainly in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Phobias, Social and Generalized Anxiety with adults, teens and children. She is trained in Inference Based CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Professional & Academic Background
Christine has Master’s in Social Work from Laurier University and is registered with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers in Ontario. She has practiced in her field for over 20 years and has worked in several hospitals both within the medical and mental health systems, the Peel District School Board and in private settings. She has experience serving diverse populations and clients with complex mental health concerns.
Why They Chose This Work
Christine was led to neurofeedback looking for interventions that went beyond talk therapy and which could address the mind-body connection in a different way. She has found neurofeedback to be an invaluable part of mental health treatment as she has seen the change it has made in her clients’ lives.
Outside the Office
Outside of work Christine is a parent, partner, dog lover, artist and traveller.
