Corey specializes in the assessment (biopsychosocial) and treatment for adults with a variety of presenting concerns including: depression, anxiety, PTSD, phobias, panic, obsessive compulsive disorder, and emotion dysregulation. Corey utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help people improve their mental health and overall well-being.
Professional & Academic Background
Corey is an RSW – Clinical Specialist who received his Master of Social Work, Mental Health & Health Specialization, from the University of Toronto in 2015. In his career, he has worked with the IWK and Nova Scotia Health Authority within both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings.
