Rooted in compassion and clinical expertise, Isidora centers on creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.
Her approach integrates evidence-based therapies such as Neurofeedback, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), informed skills of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support emotional healing and nervous system regulation.
With clinical experience in nonprofit, school, and private practice settings, Isidora works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, PTSD, grief, and major life transitions. In trauma work, Isidora specializes in EMDR and combine it with approaches like EFT, DBT skills, and IFS to support deeper emotional healing. Through Neurofeedback, she helps clients better understand how trauma lives in the body and how nervous system regulation can lead to improved emotional stability and resilience. She also draw on systemic therapy principles, recognizing the interconnected nature of our biological, emotional, relational, and social experiences.
Isidora is deeply committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence. She earned her degree in Psychology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and later completed a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology. Over the years, she has pursued advanced specialization in trauma-focused psychotherapy, successfully completing formal training in EMDR and currently undertaking Complex Trauma Certification Training (CCTP).
In addition to her academic and clinical training, Isidora maintains active professional memberships with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the Superintendencia de Salud de Chile (as a licensed psychologist), the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA), the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR), the Sociedad Mexicana de Bio y Neurofeedback (SMBN), the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).
Isidora chose this profession from a deep conviction that human beings are wired not only to survive, but to flourish. Early in her path, after completing her degree in Psychology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, she traveled to Nepal and lived for four months among Buddhist monks, immersing herself in their culture to better understand the lived experience of happiness. That formative experience reshaped her understanding of well-being—not as the absence of suffering, but as the cultivation of meaning, presence, resilience, and inner balance even in the midst of difficulty.
Her subsequent Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology further grounded this vision in scientific research on human flourishing, resilience, and purpose. Over time, her work naturally evolved toward trauma-focused psychotherapy, where she integrates this strengths-based perspective with evidence-based clinical approaches. She believes that healing is not only about reducing symptoms, but about restoring agency, deepening self-understanding, and helping individuals reconnect with what gives their lives meaning.
At the heart of her professional journey is a simple yet profound question that continues to guide her work: What allows human beings to remain open, purposeful, and capable of growth—even after adversity?
Outside her clinical work, Isidora enjoys spending time in nature—especially in the mountains, surrounded by trees—where she feels grounded and restored. She also appreciates the vibrancy of city life, from exploring local shops to sharing a good meal, craft beer, or a glass of wine with friends and family.
