Julie believes in a compassionate, client-centered approach to working with youth and their families. She draws on her skills in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) to help her clients address issues related to anxiety, low mood, and trauma.
Professional & Academic Background
Julie has a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She also holds an MA in Art Therapy from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. She works as a Registered Psychologist and participates in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with evidence-based treatment.

Outside the Office
Julie loves to spend time with her family and friends, going for hikes with her dogs, and enjoying time on the water. She likes making arts and crafts and snuggling up with a good book.
