Therapeutic Approach & Areas of Practice
I hold a Master of Counselling Psychology degree and am also a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Prior to this, I completed an Honors undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Mental Health at Carleton University and a post-graduate in Addiction Treatment and Prevention at Georgian College. I have had the opportunity to participate in training for multiple evidence-based treatment modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, and Narrative Therapy. I work with adults, youth, and children. As a therapist, it is important to me that I approach my sessions from a place of compassion that creates an open, non-judgmental environment for my clients. The focus of my work is to remain client-centered and move according to the clients’ strengths and needs to support them in meeting their identified goals.
