Therapeutic Approach & Specialties

Milda believes in a client-centred and compassionate approach to therapy. She aims to provide care that is flexible, relational, and tailored to each client’s unique experiences, needs, and pace of healing. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change and well-being. Milda has training in a variety of client-centered therapeutic approaches. Her practice is informed by the principles of Compassionate Inquiry and Attachment Theory, whilst appropriately incorporating other evidence-based practice elements such as CBT and DBT, with a focus on fostering self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful personal growth.

Professional & Academic Background

Milda holds a Master of Social Work from St. Thomas University and is a registered member of the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Prior to joining NuVista, she worked with the Mobile Crisis Unit at Horizon Health Network Addictions and Mental Health Services.

Outside the Office

Milda loves hiking, travel, horseback riding, painting in mixed media, reading. She volunteers with a dog rescue organization.
