Therapeutic Approach & Specialties

Reena Davis graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 2022 and has since been working privately in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, C-PTSD, dissociation and chronic stress. Additionally, she has worked in a non-profit organization specializing in sexual assault. Prior to becoming a counseling therapist, Reena spent many years in management, advocacy, health coaching, teaching yoga, Pilates and fitness as well as teaching mindfulness in group settings. Reena is also qualified to practice and teach thai yoga massage.

With an eclectic background, Reena aims to deliver a personalized treatment plan using EMDR, somatic work with the body, vagus nerve approaches, solution-focused therapy, IFS and mindfulness. All treatment is trauma-informed and collaborative.

Professional & Academic Background

Reena earned her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville Univerisity in 2022. Before joining True North Reena worked in a sexual assault centre, developing expertise in trauma informed practices. She has worked with a diverse clientel during her career.
