Drawing on methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Emotion focused therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Sabrina hopes to provide you with tangible tools to challenge your inner dialogue, alter behaviour patterns, promote resiliency, change negative thinking patterns, regulate your emotions, heal childhood wounds, and find internal balance. Aside from the painful emotions that brought you here today, Sabrina values helping people identify their strengths and sense of self once more. Sabrina is passionate about helping people ascend to their best selves, whilst providing unique and evidence-based treatment plans.

Professional & Academic Background

Sabrina completed her master’s degree with Yorkville University’s Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Program. Sabrina is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist. Prior to this role, Sabrina spent 6 years working as a crisis worker and a case manager with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Toronto. In this role Sabrina worked with those diagnosed with a variety of serious mental health concerns and facing various forms of societal oppression. Sabrina has worked with individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, religious, sexuality, gender identity, and socioeconomic backgrounds, prioritizing an intersectional and anti-oppressive framework.

Outside the Office

When not working, Sabrina enjoy’s spending quality time with friends, family, and her Havanese dog Ollie. She adores spending quiet nights in, reading, painting, spending time outdoors, gardening, yoga, and physical activity.
