Tracy enjoys working with young people and their famillies to help identify their strengths and challenges and recommend ways to best support students in school. She works with school age children and adolescents, and young adults. Tracy diagnosis learning disorders, and ADHD. Reports are written in a an easy to understand way that are user friendly for families and schools.
Professional & Academic Background
Tracy earned her Masters in School Psychology at Mount Saint Vincent University in 2000. She is registered with the Nova Scotia Regulator of Psychology. She has worked in the school system for 25 years, and enjoys helping families in private practice as well. She served a president of Psychologists in School Association for 3 years, and is currently a board member of NSRP,
Why They Chose This Work
Tracy believes that all young people can be successful, if given the appropriate supports and interventions, provided by both home and school. She strives to advocate for the needs of all students and their families, and identifies realistic, evidence based interventions to help students reach their potential.
Outside the Office
When not working, Tracy enjoys skiing, swimming, being at the beach, reading, and travel.
