Caroline has been working with first responders and Veterans for over 25 years. Believing in an eclectic approach to therapy, Caroline incorporates a variety of approaches that respect the mind, body and spirit. She currently is limiting her practice, due to being partially retired,to psychological assessments for VAC, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Yamuna Body Rolling.

Professional & Academic Background

Caroline is a registered psychologist on PEI, but completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at the Université de Moncton in 1991. Her background includes work with federal and provincial corrections, EAP with the provincial government and director of Assessment Services at Holland College. She chose to enter into private practice in 2000. In 2014, she opened Serene View Ranch Psychological Services, a multidisciplinary, multimodal therapy and assessment service in the beautiful hills of Alexandra, PEI.

Why They Chose This Work

Caroline has seen the devastating impact of trauma on humans through the work that she did in both prisons and in the community. Her life work has been devoted to serving first responders and Veterans through their struggles in dealing with the impacts of PTSD

Outside the Office

In her spare time, Caroline enjoys horse back riding, yoga, mindfulness and cooking. She recently has added more reading to her schedule and admits to being a puzzle person. She also has a love of traveling and is working hard at seeing the world as part of her retirement plan.
