Max Kelly

Social Work Master’s Student – Intern
BA, MA, SSW, MSW (in progress)

Are you struggling with anxiety, self-esteem concerns, relationship problems, or trauma? Do you need someone to speak with about personal issues? If so, let’s talk. With extensive frontline and arts-based psychoeducational experience I will bring a unique perspective to our sessions. My background in music, performance, theatre, and community art enriches my therapeutic approach, making it creative and holistic.

As a Social Work master’s student, I am dedicated to furthering my development in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), more. My practice is trauma-informed, and I bring an anti-oppressive lens to all my work, ensuring a non-judgmental and safe space for you to express yourself and process your experiences.

Together, we can explore coping tools, challenge your thinking, and foster personal growth and change. You are unique, and so is my approach to counselling. I integrate a variety of therapeutic principles and philosophies to create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
