Hi, I’m Alicia. I’m currently completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
My background is in behaviour therapy, where I developed strong skills in building relationships, supporting emotional regulation, and creating spaces where people feel safe and understood. That experience has really shaped the way I approach therapy today.
I believe therapy should feel comfortable, collaborative, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel able to show up exactly as you are, whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply trying to better understand yourself. I value building genuine connections with clients and moving at a pace that feels supportive and realistic for you. I take a client-centred approach and draw from therapies such as CBT and person-centred therapy while always recognizing that each person’s experiences and needs are unique.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my hope is that our work together feels grounded, supportive, and meaningful.
