Dr. Quinlan is a psychologist, providing a client-centered, collaborative, and integrated approach to help adults overcome difficulties and to ultimately live their best lives. He integrates evidence based therapies, often drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and mindfulness based techniques. While he has a particular interest in treating anxiety problems/disorders and OCD, he also helps individuals address challenges with adjustment problems, body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), depression, interpersonal issues, anger, trauma, grief and loss.
Professional & Academic Background
Dr. Quinlan earned his Master’s and Philosophy Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He is registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario and participates in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in therapeutic interventions. Prior to joining NUVISTA, Dr. Quinlan gained experience working in hospital outpatient services, a specialized memory clinic, student counselling centres, and correctional settings.

Dr. Quinlan enjoys exercise, sports, video games, and spending quality time with his family.
