Therapeutic Approach & Specialties

I’m a licensed psychologist offering compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults. I specialize in trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, and life transition challenges. I have experience supporting Canadian Military Veterans, RCMP, and First Responders. I draw on CBT, ACT, mindfulness and trauma informed approaches such as CPT and EMDR to help clients build lasting resilience and practical skills.

Therapy is collaborative and tailored to client goals whether the focus is short-term symptom relief or deeper, longer term work. Sessions focus on developing emotional regulation and coping strategies, identifying unhelpful patterns and supporting sustainable change.

I offer both in-person and Telehealth appointments with flexible scheduling.

Professional & Academic Background

Masters Degree in Psychology from Acadia University. Graduated 1984. Worked in provincial mental heath services and private practice.

Why They Chose This Work

I enjoy supporting people in finding their best quality of life. Hopefully I help support people through difficult times, give them resources to ease distress and deal with symptoms.

Outside the Office

Fibre Art, time with dogs, help my daughter in her wine import business, travel, eat good food.
