Therapeutic Approach & Specialties

I take a collaborative, client-centered holistic approach to therapy, drawing on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My work is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood.


My primary areas of specialization include addictions and eating disorders, as well as mood disorders, anxiety disorder.

I chose this work because I believe deeply in people’s capacity for change, growth, and improved well-being. It is meaningful to me to walk alongside individuals as they navigate challenges, gain insight, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Supporting others in developing resilience, self-understanding, and healthier ways of coping is both a privilege and a responsibility I value. I am continually inspired by the strength people bring to the therapeutic process and the positive changes that can emerge with the right support.

Professional & Academic Background

I hold an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and I am committed to ongoing professional development and ethical, evidence-based care.
Prior to joining Nuvista, I provided mental health support through community health programs and non-profit organizations providing programming in residential programs, school based programming, youth justice programs, and outreach programs, working with diverse populations and a wide range of presenting concerns. These experiences have shaped my collaborative, accessible approach and deepened my commitment to providing inclusive, client-centered care

Outside the Office

Outside of the office you can find me spending as much time outdoors as possible—whether that’s hiking, skiing, cycling, or just sitting and watching a sunrise. Free time is almost always shared with family, friends, and/or pets, as well as reading and exploring new places and spaces.
