Therapeutic Approach & Specialties

I work with adults experiencing operational stress injuries, and the impact of trauma, with a particular focus on first responders and military members, while also welcoming clients from the general public. My approach is collaborative, practical, and trauma-informed, recognizing the realities of high-stress roles and the resilience clients already bring with them. I integrate EMDR, trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions to help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce symptoms, and build sustainable coping strategies. Therapy is tailored to each individual, with an emphasis on safety, skill-building, and supporting meaningful, long-term recovery.

Professional & Academic Background

Completed a masters in clinical psychology at Bond University, Australia.

Why They Chose This Work

I chose to become a psychologist because I have deep respect for the strength it takes to serve others under high levels of stress and risk, and for the courage it takes to ask for support when the weight of those experiences becomes heavy. Working with trauma and operational stress allows me to help people make sense of difficult experiences, reduce their impact, and reconnect with a sense of control and meaning in their lives. I’m drawn to this work because it is both practical and deeply human—supporting healing, resilience, and growth while honoring each person’s unique story.

Outside the Office

I enjoy getting out on the water in the summer and enjoy outdoor winter sports.
