Kayla’s practice is grounded in respect, collaboration, and knowledge of how chronic stress and trauma affect individuals and relationships. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist and frequently uses EMDR to address a variety of concerns, integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to meet client preferences and goals. She works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, chronic stress, and relationship challenges. She understands how operational stress injuries affect veterans, first responders, and their families, and cares deeply about supporting those who carry so much in service of others. Kayla holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She is a Licensed Counselling Therapist (LCT) with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick (CCTNB) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Kayla is also a EMDRIA Certified Therapist.
