Melanie is an experienced provider of the intensive CBT-I program for insomnia and has advanced training in trauma and ADHD. She helps clients navigate difficult relationships and breakups and has specialized experience with borderline and narcissistic personality disorders. No matter what you are struggling with, Melanie provides a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported.

Professional & Academic Background

Melanie is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master’s and Doctoral degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from OISE, University of Toronto. Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals with mental health disorders, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, ADHD, autism, aphasia, and those in palliative and complex continuing care. She practices within a trauma-informed model providing therapy to Veterans, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and RCMP. In addition to her clinical work, she has experience providing Advanced Clinical Supervision.
