Intro

I am honored to support and learn from those who I work with.

Therapeutic Approach & Specialties

Within my practice, I use several different evidence based approaches, and am committed to helping individuals discover new insights, strengths, and confidence. I am a licensed Craving Change facilitator, have completed Diabetes Canada’s Mental Health and Diabetes Training Program, and training provided by Obesity Canada. I have also completed Seeking Safety training, which is an evidence based program focused on meeting the needs of those struggling with substance use, and specialized training regarding cancer survivorship.

Professional & Academic Background

I am a masters prepared registered social worker with 25+ years supporting individuals and families facing challenges in a number of areas, including relationship issues, substance use, mood disorders, grief, and stress. I also have a special interest in working with those who are adjusting to living with a chronic health condition, cancer survivors, and adolescents/children struggling with emotional eating/body image concerns.
