Therapeutic Approach & Specialties
Hi, I’m Suzanne (she/her). I’m a psychotherapist specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy.
I work from a systemic and relational perspective, exploring how your relationships, experiences, and broader context shape the patterns in your life. Together, we look at how these patterns influence the way you see yourself and the world around you.
I place strong value on the emotions that colour your lived experience. By approaching your story with curiosity and care, we can deepen understanding, uncover meaning, and support movement toward your preferred way of being. Therapy becomes a space for thoughtful reflection, growth, and meaningful change.
Professional & Academic Background
Suzanne earned her Master of Science (MSc) in Couple and Family Therapy from the University of Guelph. She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and maintains an active independent practice.
Suzanne’s clinical focus is on relational work, supporting couples and families, as well as adult individuals. Her training emphasizes systemic and relational approaches, with particular attention to the patterns, dynamics, and emotional processes that shape clients’ lives. She remains committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her work reflects current best practices in psychotherapy.
Why They Chose This Work
Suzanne believes deeply in the transformative power of human connection and the courage it takes to seek support. She is continually moved by the privilege of witnessing clients navigate difficulty, make meaning of their experiences, and move toward their preferred ways of being in their lives.
She values creating a space grounded in safety, trust, and genuine curiosity — where vulnerability is welcomed and clients feel respected in the complexity of their stories. Suzanne approaches therapy as a collaborative process, tailoring her work to each individual, couple, or family rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.
Committed to ongoing education and professional growth, she continually seeks to deepen her knowledge and refine her clinical skills to best support the people she works with.
Outside the Office
Outside of the office, Suzanne enjoys staying active through yoga, fitness, and Pilates. Movement is an important part of how she maintains balance and well-being in her own life. She is also a small business owner, a role that reflects her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to building meaningful, community-centered spaces. Suzanne values time with family and friends, enjoys traveling and exploring new places, and loves both playing and watching sports. At home, her two dogs happily keep her busy and remind her daily of the importance of play, presence, and connection. She believes that tending to her own relationships, health, and curiosity about the world allows her to show up grounded, present, and fully engaged in her work.
