Therapeutic Approach & Specialties
I am not perfect…But I am enough.” – Carl Rogers. We can experience a range of emotions; where feelings of sadness, hurt, guilt, self-doubt, helplessness, hopelessness, anger, despair, anxiety, loneliness, grief can impact our well-being. With that, can also arise the opportunity to grow and heal. Traumatic or unpleasing events can disrupt our brain’s natural processing system, leading to the storage of memories in a way that is disconnected from other adaptive memory networks. Therapy is the ‘exercise’ we can offer our brain to rewire and re-integrate to develop more adaptive/positive neural networks. I am here to support you in your journey of self-acceptance, finding meaning and purpose in life, positive relations, and happiness.
I can relate to therapy feeling intimidating at times or even just difficult. I aspire to create a supportive, safe, and nonjudgemental space for you to explore concerns, find your strengths, and heal. I will bring active listening, empathy, compassion, trust, and care to our relationship, where we can collaborate on exploring your concerns to achieve meaningful outcomes and a life with ease.
